The DC Child and Family Services Agency currently serves over 3,000 District children and youth. Public funds meet the basic needs of all youngsters in foster care. But in filling the gap between adequate care and the enriched support these children deserve, community involvement and strategic partnerships make all the difference. Partners for Kids in Care uses 100 percent of contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations and community organizations to benefit District children, youth and families connected to the child welfare system. A variety of giving opportunities are available all year long and goes a very long way in letting our young people know their community cares.
